🙃 Fearless Foundations: Inversions & Arm Balance Lab (All Levels Welcome)

Turn Your Practice Upside Down with Confidence, Strength, and Play

Discover how to lift off the mat safely and playfully! Join Eunmi for an empowering, step-by-step lab designed to demystify inversions and arm balances.

Arm balances and inversions are not about sheer upper-body strength—they are expressions of core intelligence, precise alignment, leverage, and courage. Whether you are curious about taking your first Crow Pose or looking to refine your transitions into advanced shapes, this workshop will give you the tools, technique, and confidence to elevate your practice without fear.

What We’ll Explore

We will begin with an invigorating, targeted Vinyasa flow to awaken wrist mobility, warm up the shoulders, activate core stability, and prep the hips. From there, we will break down key foundational and intermediate shapes into digestible, anatomical steps, exploring:

  • Foundational Flight: Crow Pose (Kakasana), Crane Pose (Bakasana), and Headstand (Sirsasana) variations

  • Lateral & Asymmetrical Balance: Side Crow (Parsva Bakasana) and Eight-Angle Pose (Astavakrasana)

  • Hip Opening & Extensions: Flying Pigeon (Eka Pada Galavasana), Sage Kaundinya’s Pose (EPK I & II), and Dolphin / Forearm Prep

What Makes This Lab Unique

  • Smart Prop Work & Wall Support: Learn how blocks, straps, bolsters, and wall variations can bring the floor closer to you and make inversions accessible to every body.

  • Anatomical Breakdowns: Understand the why behind each posture so you can balance through leverage and alignment rather than force.

  • A Safe, Supportive Environment: With clear instruction, hands-on spot options, and room to play, safety and smart progression are at the heart of this experience.
